I am professional qualified photographer with over 20 years of experience, based in Manchester, specialising in Civil Partnerships, Weddings,Corporate Events, Technical and Teaching. After leaving college I became involved in many community based photography and video projects including The Pankhurst Centre, North Hulme College, Fielden Park College, North West Shape, City of Manchester Education Department, E-Force, Counter Image and Oxfam.
My employment has included The Science and Industry Museum in Manchester, the University of Manchester Medical School, Commercial and Advertising photography, and the University of Manchester Science and Technology. My photographs have been published in The Lancet, The Voice Manchester Evening New, Area News and the Equal Opportunities Commission magazine
My most recent publications have included the refugee project ‘The Distance We Have Travelled’, Ebony Mya and the conference ‘Africa Must Unite’. Photographs from these commissions have featured in exhibitions, books and the Making History 2006 calendar.
Last year one of my Civil Partnership photographs, was featured on National television on the Loose Women magazine show, and was voted 3rd place in the competition.
